How to connect with Sellers/Providers
Collaborations are a great possibility to get more bookings (for Experience Providers) or to earn passive while make your guest's experiences unique (for Ho(s)tels).
Guest houses, Hostels and Hostels can work with any kind of experience provider and both sides will make profit out of it.
But let's dive into creating a connection between a Hotel and an experience Provider. First thing you need to do here is click on "Collaborations" in the left menu bar of your akin booking engine.
Then you click either on "Provider" if you are an experience provider like a yoga teacher, hiking guide, etc. or "Seller" if you are the representative of a Hostel, Hotel or any other type of Guest House. Then you click "Invite collaborator".
Next step would be to set if you are inviting a seller or provider to collaborate with.
If you are a Ho(s)tel you will invite a provider,
if you are an experience provider you will invite a seller.
Choose one and click "Next".
Now you can add the email address of your chosen partner and a nice message. Click "Invite collaborator" and there will be an Email sent to your chosen partner.
Now, while you're waiting for a response, this screen will be shown.
Meanwhile your chosen partner will receive this Email:
The invited person will chick on "Collaborate" if they want to work with you. They will be redirected to the akin login or signup page and log into their booking engine. If they don't have an akin account yet, they can build one from scratch here. They will be led to a collaboration page where they can choose the partner they want to collaborate with (you).
Now your chosen partner can choose between your listings. They will pick the ones they want and click "Next".
Now it's your turn again! You will receive an Email saying your Invitation was accepted. Click on "Collaborate" and you will be able to do the next step.
Now you can suggest a commission and set your terms of the collaboration.
After you suggested your preferred commission your chosen partner will be asked to confirm. You both can chat to negotiate or accept the offer.
After accepting the proposal you can go live by clicking "Go live"!
